picture perfect?
30 pesos for brewed coffee
10 pesos for toll
50 pesos for gas
that’s even less than a tall sugarfree nonfat no-whip caramel machiatto.

i miss bacolod. *sigh*
why i like photographing kids
October 19, 2008
they’re effortless models.
they know how to smile.
they have indespensable amounts of energy.
i could go on and on and on and on…

now THAT is a truck.

the ruins
October 5, 2008
after a 6-month travel drought, i was quite determined to visit and photograph the famed lacson mansion ruins in talisay. but then again, there are a thousand (or more) versions of this structure. i vowed not to take the same photo.

monochromatic makati
September 29, 2008
after 10 minutes of waiting for a friend to meet up with me in the condo lobby… i was bored.

makati has these ridiculous rules against DSLRs, so i took this photo while inside the car.
glug, glug, glug.

at the manila ocean park, more than a month ago.
somehow i expected extra-exotic marine life for 400php.
the lapu-lapu (which, could be found in the frozen seafood section at rustan’s grocery) occupied an entire wall. i’m seriously hoping they improve or revamp the place.
eto na lang, big nguso.

forgot what it’s called, but it was the only fish that behaved while i was photographing him/her.

four. bannaple cakes devoured in twenty minutes : blueberry cheesecake, oreo cheesecake, snickers cheesecake, and banoffee pie.
three. starbucks coffee branches in mall of asia.
two. books purchased at the manila international book fair. must. practice. discipline.
one. credit card. damaged and wiped. *sigh*
zero. cups of coffee glugged during the past six months. as to why, that’s another story.
a friend of mine is a member of INK (aka ilustrador ng kabataan) and they had these storybook characters exhibited outside the book fair. i must say, the attention to detail was incredible.

now, if i may share the ultra-fabulous manila bay sunset…

5:22pm
good night, everyone.

i have this friend who has a mild aversion to cameras.
worse, she has to go through another prenup shoot with a photographer she hasn’t met yet, in a public place at 3pm. first prenup shoot was a couple of months ago in the same place.
i tagged along.
good thing, the photographer was funny, the makeup artist was hilarious and the shoot went a-ok.

photo-wise, it was quite a productive weekend.
now, if only i can find time to sift through the hundreds of photos we took…

quite a sight to behold…

fog rolling in at taal volcano. ’twas more than the usual fog i’m used to in tagaytay. i’ve been staying here quite frequently since i got sick.
something about the fresh air and cool breeze, maybe?
