it’s not surprising to see hundreds of photographers scouring the mall of asia grounds for the perfect vantage point.

some people pay hundreds, even as much as php1,500 just to sit up front.

so far UCC (2nd level, south wing) has the best, not-so-expensive view. thing is, they have this policy where you have to pay php799 (consumable) per person so you could reserve a table during the pyrolympics.

my vantage point is one that not a lot people know about… although, i have to be there really early. and WAIT. it’s so perfect, someone would take over in a millisecond.

although, i’m contemplating about situating myself in the bay area near hooter’s during the final weekend…

why blog?

i recently posted a constructive (read: kinda contradicting) comment about someone’s reviews. that was around 10 hours ago. last i checked, the comment’s gone.

if you can’t handle criticism, WHY BLOG?

blog writing means allowing everyone to read, review, and criticize. the latter is the reason why we have comments pages. big-time bloggers know how to handle criticisms gracefully. and no, they usually don’t delete negative comments. they see it as an area for improvement. if the comment is degrading then that’s a whole different story.

i remember reading the disclaimer and somehow the tone is “if you don’t agree with us, don’t read our blog”.

finally launched

first time the boys brought me the would-be gallery-slash-showroom for hunter douglas and bedtalk, i told then, “parang di ko ma-imagine…”

but then again, things can change dramatically with an army of carpenters, an architect, an interior designer, ambient lighting and two designer beds.

friends and hunter douglas head honchos were present to witness the unveiling of the new hunter douglas gallery / bedtalk showroom.

soooo adorable.

my friend catcat’s niece, during her christening at makati. reception was at the luna gardens function room.

’twas my first time to photograph a one-month-old baby… how i wish i could carry her to a studio and do the shoot there. so we just had to make do with the function room’s 2-storey high, floor-to-ceiling windows for lighting.

thanks to mark for lending me his digicam… for some reason i can’t comprehend, i brought everything except for my cam’s battery pack. *sigh*
