roadtrip adiktus

my mom’s probably gonna freak out if she knew what was going on inside my head these past few weeks.

i’m going through a quarter-life crisis (what can i say, i’m an optimist. i intend to live until i’m a hundred years old) and i’m not alone. that i’m sure.

experiencing a slew of asthma attacks and weird, on-off fevers over the past few weeks didn’t help. obviously.

therapy? spur-of-the-moment roadtrips and pretty sunsets.

pulling that camera trigger somehow releases all the tension.

there’s something about tagaytay that somehow allows me to think things through — somehow reminds me of bacolod: laid-back, clean air, and cheap food.

bryna was our mommy.

nooo… not literally.

she patiently answered our questions, no matter how nonsensical and stupid they might sound.

eventually everyone became more than just colleagues and groupmates. we have transformed into her wedding consultants, event planners, kikay consultants, and mani-pedi adiktus club members.

early this month she gave birth to raine bianca lee chong. cute ‘no? kakagigil!

to say that i was ”tired” is an understatement.

i hardly slept during that weekend — we were too busy going from one end of hongkong to another.

i slept for more than an hour while all my seatmates were busy asking each other “ilang taon ka na sa hongkong?”, “ilang taon bago ka nakauwi sa pilipinas?” and the overused (at least, during that flight) “mabait ba amo mo?”

makes me wonder, would i survive working in another country? gahd. i could imagine my kilometer-long phone bills. que horror!

this has happened before, and i don’t want it to happen again.

i do not like placing watermarks right smack in the middle of my photos because it practically destroys the essence of a photograph. some people use it as a preventive measure against lechers who copy other people’s works and claim it as their own.
